Please read this before working with us.
By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service & Conditions. If anything here doesn’t work for you, let’s talk before we start.
1. Who we are and what we do
Digital Efficiency Consulting Group (“DECG”, “we”, “us”) provides advisory, analysis, and strategic recommendations focused on improving efficiency, process design, and data integrity. We help you see the opportunities, but you decide what to implement.
2. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms apply to your use of this website, any resources we provide, and any consulting services you engage us for. By accessing the site or moving forward with a project, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and services.
3. Advisory-only relationship (no implementation by default)
DECG’s role is advisory. We research, analyze, and present findings and options. Unless explicitly agreed to in writing, we do not operate your systems, make changes inside your applications, or manage your staff or vendors.
All configuration changes, process updates, system implementations, and people decisions are made by you and your team (or your chosen partners), not by DECG.
4. No guarantees of specific results
We aim to provide practical, data-informed recommendations. However, we cannot guarantee specific financial, operational, or performance outcomes. Actual results depend on factors such as internal adoption, data quality, system constraints, and execution decisions fully outside our control.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information needed for our work.
- Review our findings and recommendations before choosing whether to act on them.
- Ensure that any changes you implement comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain appropriate backups, security, and business continuity protections for your systems and data.
6. Confidentiality
We treat your non-public information as confidential and use it only to provide services to you, except where disclosure is required by law or you give written permission. We expect the same reasonable confidentiality around proprietary DECG materials, methods, and pricing.
7. Intellectual property
DECG retains ownership of its methodologies, templates, documents, visuals, and other work product unless otherwise agreed in writing. You receive a non-exclusive license to use any deliverables we provide for your internal business purposes only, not for resale or redistribution.
8. Fees, billing, and changes to scope
Fees, payment terms, and any milestones are described in your Statement of Work (SOW) or agreement. If scope, timelines, or priorities change, we may update the SOW and fees by mutual agreement before continuing.
9. Website content, resources, and third-party links
Any articles, resources, tools, or examples on this site are for general informational purposes only and are not legal, financial, tax, or HR advice. You should consult qualified professionals before relying on any information for decisions in those areas.
This site may link to third-party websites or services. DECG does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DECG is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to our services or your use of this site.
Our total liability, if any, for direct damages is limited to the fees you paid to DECG for the specific project or engagement during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, the law, or how we operate. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date below. Continued use of the site or services after an update means you accept the new Terms.
12. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms or how they apply to a specific engagement, please reach out using the contact options on our website.
